A Worship Exercise

“Close your eyes for xisty seconds and picture worship.  Let the film roll for a minute.

OK, come back.

Did you do it?  What did you see?  What did you hear?  What did you do?  What did you feel?

I your answer to any of those questions was “nothing,” then you do not know worship…What is especially revealing is what [people] say when I ask, “What did you do?”  Often they will say they did nothing because they were observing.  That is interesting because worship is never an observation or a thin we watch someone else do…

…Worship is a response of the heart to who God is and His presence with us…Worship is encountering God, loving Him, and responding to Him in physical, verbal, and emotional ways.”
