A great book was written by the name A Tale of Two Cities. Though our sermon this week was not equal to this masterpiece, we did encounter A Tale of Two Mothers and we saw how their lives affected the world. Samuel’s mother, Hannah is a picture for us. She understood that it was her responsibility to present her child in the temple and ensure he was devoted to God and the ramifications were amazing. Samuel led the people in worship for his life.
So how can we present our children in the temple today? By praying for our children and seeking God to intercede and change them. We can ask God to bring them to a conviction of sin and we can ask him to intercede for them. Prayer is our greatest asset when it comes to affecting the spiritual lives of our children.
